SITUATION

The various Providence hospitals each had their own publication but none of them focused primarily on donors. Providence wanted a magazine that focused on donors and caregivers to reinforce how their contributions and work help to elevate the hospitals and the communities they serve. Creative Shoebox was asked to create a magazine that was flexible enough so that content could be customized to each foundation and speak to donors and supporters in a way that would help nurture lasting relationships.

STRATEGY

Creative Shoebox developed several magazine covers and spreads along with names for the publication. This template allowed us to create 8, 12, 16 and up to 20-page magazine formats that accommodated the variety of content that was specific to each hospital mission. We elevated all the writing and organized hundreds of image assets.

RESULTS

The first donor magazine for Providence was launched in less than 2 months. More importantly, the magazines helped generate additional donations for the Foundations by year-end.
